Find the Best Glasses For Your Face Shape

April 29, 2017Eyeglasses

There are five different face shapes, and each have particular eyewear frames that is most flattering. Doing the research and knowing the best glasses for your face shape will help show off your best features.

If you’re unsure what kind of face shape you have, here are easy steps to find out:

  1. Using a measuring tape, find the measurements of your forehead, cheekbones, and jaw across the width of your face. If they are equal, proceed to step 2. If they are not equal, proceed to step number 4.
  2. Equal measurements of your forehead, cheekbones, and jaw mean that your face is either round, oval, or square. Next, examine your jaw. A square jaw means you have a square shaped face. If your jaw is round, proceed to step 3.
  3. Now look at the length of your face. A shorted face length relates to a round face. Meanwhile, if it’s long, you have an oval or oblong face shape.
  4. Unequal forehead, cheekbones, and jaw means you have a heart or diamond shaped face, If your cheekbones or forehead are wider than your jaw with your chin coming to a point, then you have a heart-shaped face. If your cheekbones are the widest part of your face, then you likely have a diamond-shaped face.
